Sahaba Food Bank · Muslim Community Food Bank

No one shares a room with a hungry neighbour and calls it home.

“Food is a right, not a reward.”

We collect and share halal food with Muslim and local families who need it. Every item is checked by hand. Every family is treated with dignity. No paperwork maze — just food, given the way the Sahaba shared with one another.

What We Need

Simple food, clearly explained.

Three Simple Steps

Giving food takes five minutes.

01

Choose what to give

Pick one or more items from the list above, or give money instead. There's no minimum — one bag of rice matters.

02

Drop off or arrange pickup

Bring items to our centre, or ask us to collect from your home. We check every item is sealed and halal.

03

We deliver it, discreetly

Food is sorted into family parcels and delivered quietly within the week — no forms, no questions asked at the door.

Volunteers sharing food with the community
Our Promise

Named for those who shared everything.

“Sahaba” means companions — the friends of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), known for sharing food, shelter and money with anyone in need, no matter how little they had themselves.

We try to live up to that name. Every item we hand out is checked for a halal mark, and every family who comes to us is met with respect, not paperwork.

  • Every item checked for halal certification
  • No ID, forms or proof of income required
  • Deliveries kept quiet and dignified
  • Run entirely by community volunteers
